Terms of business
Quotes
Quotes are free, written, and carry no obligation. A quote states a fixed price for a defined scope and holds for 30 days unless it says otherwise. Nothing is owed until you accept a quote in writing.
Building
Work starts when a quote is accepted and any agreed deposit is paid. Larger builds are split into stages, each priced and approved before it starts. Changes to scope are quoted before they are built — never billed as a surprise.
Ownership
On payment, the code we write for you and the data in your system are yours. Where your build uses open-source components, those remain under their own licences. We may not reuse your business's private information; we may reuse general techniques and know-how.
Hosting and support
Hosting and support plans are monthly, from £25, including up to an hour of small changes each month; larger changes are quoted. You can cancel with one month's notice, and we will hand over cleanly — the system is built for that.
Third-party costs
Domains, hosting, licences and payment-processing fees are billed at cost and shown to you before you commit to anything.
The legal bits
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing in them limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Our total liability under a project is limited to the fees paid for that project.
