Free website — competition terms

  1. The promoter is One Smart System Ltd, company no. 16308991, registered office 4 Spark Road, Manchester M23 1DR.
  2. Each month we build one business a website free of charge. Entry is by the application form on this site and is free; one winner is chosen from each month's applications.
  3. Open to businesses trading in the UK. One entry per business per month. Entries not selected roll into the following month automatically unless you ask us to withdraw them.
  4. Winners are chosen on merit, not at random: we read every application and pick the business where a website will make the biggest difference. The judge is One Smart System Ltd; its decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  5. The winner is told through their account, and everyone who applied hears the outcome either way.
  6. The prize is the design and build of a multi-page website (our £250 build), delivered at no charge, with the site and its content owned by the winner. Build starts once the winner confirms.
  7. The winner needs a domain name in their own name (typically about £30 a year) if they do not already have one; buying it is the winner's only cost. Hosting and maintenance from us (from £25 a month) are optional and are not a condition of winning.
  8. There is no cash alternative and the prize is not transferable.
  9. Applicants who tick the optional box on the form are sent a no-obligation quote for a paid site (from £150) if not selected; nobody who leaves it unticked is contacted about one.
  10. We may say publicly that the winner's site was built through this offer; we will agree any announcement with the winner first.
  11. Personal data in applications is used to judge the competition and respond to applicants, as set out in our privacy policy.
