What we collect, and why
When you ask for a quote or apply for the free website, we collect what you put in the form: your name, business name, email, optional phone number, and what you tell us about the business. We use it to prepare your quote or judge your application, and to run your account. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Your account
If you use your account to tell us more about your business, that information is used for the same purposes — costing and building the right system for you. We do not sell it, share it with third parties for their marketing, or use it for anything you would not expect.
Marketing
We only send marketing if you ticked the optional box asking for it, and you can stop it at any time from your account or by replying to any message. Not ticking the box has no effect on your quote or application.
By design, our emails carry no content: we send sign-in links and short notices that something is waiting in your account. The substance stays in your account.
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries and applications are kept while your account exists. Delete your account and the data goes with it — genuinely deleted, not archived.
Your rights
You can download everything we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — the first and last are buttons in your account settings, no request needed. You also have the usual UK GDPR rights, including the right to complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
Processors we use
Our website and database are hosted on Vercel infrastructure; transactional email is delivered by Resend. Both act under our instructions as processors.
